The Pirates win the 2024 Military Bowl over the Wolfpack

The 2024 Military Bowl, played in Annapolis, was a total nail-biter between the in-state rivals, the East Carolina Pirates (ECU) and the NC State Wolfpack. ECU ended up winning 26-21, but man, was it close! The Pirates started strong, getting up 20-7 thanks to quarterback Katin Houser running in two touchdowns and a really solid ground game led by Rahjai Harris. But hey, the Wolfpack weren’t done! Freshman quarterback CJ Bailey and the guys came roaring back in the fourth […]

Suitland rolls over Duval. 47-0

Man, the Suitland Rams brought some serious heat when they took on the DuVal Tigers on Friday, October 17, 2025! Right from the opening kickoff, you could tell that Suitland’s powerful running attack and amazing defense were just too much for DuVal to handle. Running backs Jayden Lee and Daniel Duncan were absolutely tearing up the field, eating up tons of yards and leaving the Tigers’ defense totally dizzy. QB Anthony Boyd Jr. kept things running smoothly, even tossing a […]

Stone Ridge takes home the 2025 ISL Field Hockey Championship

The 2025 ISL Field Hockey Championship featured an intense, electric showdown between rivals Stone Ridge and Holy Child at Stone Ridge. The first half was a relentless defensive stalemate, with both back lines and the Holy Child zone defense neutralizing Stone Ridge’s prolific attack. Despite several penalty corners for the Gators, the game remained locked in a tense, scoreless draw at halftime. Stone Ridge’s coaching staff made a crucial strategic adjustment in the second half, shifting to sharp diagonal passes. […]

This amazing photo journey of mine…

Wow, my journey in photography, especially sports, has been completely unexpected! It all started because I honestly just needed to get out and be more active, you know? But seriously, going from a simple hobby to doing this full-time is incredible. What’s even better is that I get the amazing chance to photograph some of my childhood sports heroes and huge personalities. It gives me such a great feeling of closure and realization! Getting to chronicle history and capture those […]

Back in the Saddle Again

This won’t be a lengthy post. After a few months of much needed rest and quiet time, late-August and September brings a busy photography schedule. Last weekend I was lucky enough to have covered the game of football at the high school, pro, and collegiate levels. It seem like with every game, I would remember something that I did different or incorporated in my shooting to try and make for interesting images. Here are a few of my faves from […]

It’s not just pre-season for the players.

Well it finally happened. I covered my first NFL game and even better it was a Washington Redskins game. Being a Washingtonian and life-long Redskins fans, you think this would have been huge for me. It was and it wasn’t. When I first started shooing my nephew’s football games at Wilson Senior High in DC, I never would have imagined I would be on a NFL sideline. I picked up a camera at the time to be more active and […]

Pardon My Dust | SJC vs. Southridge

Hi.  This is my first blog post in about 6 years or so. Sure, I would post the occasional bit of text with my Instagram posts, but it just wasn’t enough. After I left my day job and started to work for myself roughly two years ago, I thought I would have all of the time in the world to make blog posts and record the occasional video. Of course it never quite works out that way.  After shooting […]
